Below is the interpretation of the DNA test result we received two days ago.
Interpretation:
Combined Paternity Index: 0 Probability of Paternity: 0%

The alleged father is excluded as the biological father of the tested child. This conclusion is based on the non-matching
alleles observed at the loci listed above with a PI equal to 0. The alleged father lacks the genetic markers that must be
contributed to the child by the biological father. The probability of paternity is 0%.

My brother's wife has been having clandestine meeting with their church (unmarried) Pastor for sometime. Often times, when my brother has gone to work, She will cook food and send his children to go and give to the pastor. Some times she takes the food by herself. People around has been noticing it.

Last year, she took-in and was delivered of a baby boy who is very very fair in completion just like the pastor. Nobody in our family is that fair. People began to rumour that that must be the Pastors child. The thing has been circulating around the village that it became disturbing. When my eldest brother came back from UK, everywhere he entered they teased him with the gist. We decided that we will confront her, but then it was suggested that we perform this DNA test secretly first to confirm before accusing her.

The husband has been in the picture but could not believe that his wife could be that bad. According to him, He has queried his wife over this matter and she has denied having anything with the pastor other than prayers. So when it became a matter of family disgrace, the husband has to accept the secret DNA and offered to supply his own specimen. The test cost about N150,000 and was funded by my brother from UK. The wife is not aware of the test. The baby's sample was taken in her absence.

Now the result says, my brother is not the father. My brother has not been communicated of the result yet. I was discussing it with my other brother in UK. We are both confused of how to execute this judgement. Our concerns are;
1. What will be the reaction of our brother (The Husband ) He is the key to sending the woman away. What if he refuses.
2. The woman already has three children (two boys and a girl) before this one. The oldest is about 15 years old.
3. We want this woman to be sent back to her family, because she is a disgrace to to the family. We do not want the villages to know just yet.
4. We want to punish the Pastor, we want to punish him well, what are the legal implications. Can we arrest him for violating our wife.

Dear Nairalander, what is possible and what is not. Please I need your help and I need it now. This woman must go.

This is a private document. In an ideal world, you shouldn't even be in possession of such! You are ....for sharing such personal details with the entire world. This is the world wide web! If you had no respect for your brother, for fcks sake respect the child's innocence and private life. The internet does not provide the anonymous status you think it does. It wouldn't take more than 20 minutes to actually find out who you are...

@ Yungwizzzy Why do you think I want to ridicule my brother in a grave matter like this. I stated what we want but don't know how to go about it, because it is only my brother who have the right to dismiss his wife. If we try to do it by force it might backfire.

You should have confront her before doing the DNA test. So that she will knw her stand. But, what she did was wrong. You can go ahead and tell ur bro, d earlier the better not when d child's grow up he will be rejected by his kinsmen

Whatever decision that will be taken should be solely your brother's and not the family. The lady is not married to your

family but your brother. Let the husband decide whatever he wants to do with the wife and not you. If he decides not to

send the woman packing, respect his choice. He knows why he wants it that way. As for the Pastor, is there anything you can

do to him? I am not sure of any, the lawyers here can help with that. From your statement, if the pastor is guilty, it was

not a rape but mutual consent between two adults. I wouldn't know if there is punishment for adultery/fornication in the

constitution.

@Bookface
,

You are as guilty of the same offence you rebuked the OP of. Could you be generous enough to unquote the attachment from your post?

@ Poster - You are a poke nosing inlaw and should really learn to mind your business. WHo are the "WE" you keep referring to in this matter? Clearly this "WE" doesn't include your brother or his wife.
I would tell you the legal implications of your actions, You have breached @ - Patient Confidentiality by having a copy of someone else's medial records, You have breached the right to privacy and family life of that of your brother and his family (am sure the family lawyers in the house can add more to this).
It is evident that you carried out this DNA test without your brother or sister in law's knowledge. Who gave you the right to put their child through a medical test without the parents consent? Have you considered the fact that your brother might have suspected his wife's infidelity and they may have resolved this issue amongst themselves?
You are shamelessly here saying WE have decided to drive her away, we want to punish the pastor but what if her husband (my brother) refuses.
Your joblessness and busybody nature has made you go to an extreme length. You really ought to be ashamed of your actions. Your sister in law made a vow TO her husband and GOD not to you and the extended family members. if anyone should feel hurt or betrayed it shouldnt be you.
I suggest you find ways to occupy yourself and butt out of couples/extended family affairs
