Whenever you ask someone the kind of person they look for in a relationship or for marriage, the description of that person is never complete without the part where the person says "...must be God-fearing..." Now does this mean a very religious person? Or someone that fears God? (Whichever God you're talking about) Or someone that conforms to your religious taste and is compatible with you with respect to that?

Also, would you consider yourself to be one? According to your definition...

I feel people can as well say "a good church-goer", that's relating it to the Christians, since that's what it all boils down to. I may be mistaken too.

I believe the definition varies from different individuals.

Some its just the normal consciousness of upholding religious values.they just say it to mean they want someone in their religious faith.

To other's it means they want someone who reverence God in all spheres of life.someone who would walk in the tenets of their religious views.

To another set.a God fearing Man/woman is one who acknowledges God in every doing.he/she doesn't walk or act on his/her own will.their attitude to the basic things of life depends and is guided by the consciousness of the Supreme Creator.


To another set anyone who goes to church and believes everything the pastor teaches him/her in church.

simply put, it means Someone that have a scriptural understanding and adhere to biblical principles....and seriously people just say it but they dont know it, as long as such person has cash and good lookin and comes to church once or twice a week,that is their god-fearin partner..may GOD help us, amen.
