1. Corruption - a money making virus which gives its host body an impeccable ability to consume financial and other related resources meant for the public. The Nigerian variant yet has no cure and is already an epidemic.

2. Democracy - government of some people, by some people, and for some people

3. Devil – the criminal’s best counsel, has one of the large workshops in the country and is one of the highest employers of labor.

4. First lady - a romantic political post saddled with the responsibility of dressing gorgeously, organizing phantom pet projects, and testing the anger limits of social critics.

5. God – someone Nigerians praise when happy, lament to when sad, blame when confused, and use when in need of an excuse.

6. Graduate job - an employment offer for the best dummies; they are now expected to learn in 6 months what they weren’t taught in 5 years.

7. Nigeria - one of the seven wonders of the 20th century. It is a Babel of ethnic groups, languages, aspiration and religion.

8. Pipeline – It is a vessel used by politicians to store promises made to the public. Ordinarily it is a network of pipes used to transport petroleum products and most times a victim of vandalisation. Example: The plan to build a pipeline from Lagos to Abuja is in the pipeline.

9. Politician - a psyche-artist who makes a living by manipulating public opinion. Sometimes He/she writes award winning prose called manifestos and holds intellectual circuses called campaigns and when successful undergoes a four year reality show sponsored by the masses

10. President - a person voted by Nigerians to be their problem in chief. They are usually rechristened by the public with creative and colloquial aliases which typifies their leadership style. They are never appreciated while in office.

11. Vision 202X - a mobile goal post used by political leaders to delay delivery of dividends of good governance under the vice of time. The vision is usually replete with ambitious promises and the year of its achievement most times are set several years from the present. Example: Vision 2020.
