waternogetenemy: Soludo should follow the trail to Obi and GEJ. Dey are the once that we expected him to have dialog with before embarking on this journey.

How did he expect to win anything without them fully behind him? I hope he is not a goat and knows the right people to ally with, that is GEJ OF COURSE.

Go and seek reconciliation with ur Party boss GEJ. Discourse with him, Anambra is a GEJ friendly state and do not want another Amaechi or Okorocha.

Our gov work closely with the President. The president is hard to find or reach but try very hard and u will find him just in time.

Help yourself first before Anambra.
Look politics is different from being a technocrat. As it stands now even if Soludo becomes gov; he portends a grave danger for Anambra because he's not politically sound/conscious and that shows from the decisions he has made so far. Just like Ladoja; he was a technocrat but wasn't politically sound and that got Oyo state into a lot of trouble. Anambra be wise don't be dissuaded by d ethnic lies, "Tinubu" nonsense they've been peddling about. They want to keep U̶̲̥̅̊ under wraps that's the reason why they want to destroy d ambition of those that can save U̶̲̥̅̊; "Soludo and Ngige". They've taken Soludo from U̶̲̥̅̊; U̶̲̥̅̊ still have gold in 'ur hand in the person of "Ngige". Anambra wiseup O°˚˚˚ ; Fashola and Ngige are two different personalities. The perceived wrong of Fashola though lies cannot affect the performance of Ngige. Cum to SW and see what we're enjoying; don't be deceived by the lies they're peddling about. They(PDP and Obi) are enemies of progress. Anambra be wise; protect 'ur vote... Ngige all the way!!!

Dat is the point exactly, Anambra don't want a politician like Ngige. Look at the last decade and ask urself wat politician have done for Nigeria.

For Nigeria to take its place in the committee of nations, technocrats is exactly wat dey should produce. The reason y GEJ was voted was precisely becos Nigeria wanted a Technocrat. GEJ was assumed to have PHD and the most educated President Nigeria has ever produced.

Do u honestly see Nigeria returning to the days were semi illiterates are elected President and Govs?

Once Nigeria start to taste the dividends of Democracy with all the work GEJ has put in by 2015, Buhari don't stand a chance.

Ngige is a politician dat truily stood no chance against Soludo and Apga, dat was the perfect marriage hence the disqualification

This is most unfair to the Anambra Electorate.

Quit frankly am been thrown off balance here. I was actually thinking that Soludo was working hand-in-hand with Gov Obi. How on earth does he think he will make it with incumbent power. Or does he has his own fractional APGA. Am lost. Any body with the actual politicking analysis in the house should update me I beg.

APGA will be extinct by 2015. Besides, Soludo should make up his mind on which party to belong to. This smells like crass opportunism.

That is exactly wat we all assumed. Not just Peter Obi, we thought he had the approval of the President as was indicated by this reporting https://www.nairaland.com/1395085/jonathan-backs-soludo-anambra-guber/2

Apparently dat was not the case and the Presidency wants a more friendly and party associate in Anambra to suppourt him ahead of the 2015 poll.

U know GEJ has a cordial relationship with Anambra, he doesn't want another Amaechi or Okorocha to make his life difficult.

Soludo should reassure the Presidency and submit. He should have done that before now rather than all dis court case bruhahaha.

He knows how to find GEJ and should do so.

the question is why you dislike 'Ngige because of APC'

if soludo was in APC and Ngige in APGA--who would you vote for ?
Beautiful question. I would vote ngige in that case. Infact, before soludo declared his intention for the gov seat this year, i was hoping ngige would join APGA somehow.
Understand me guy, i just dislike APC but in this case (if APGA fails to field soludo as their candidate), i would be forced to vote ngige

I really feel 'ur pain but who told U̶̲̥̅̊ GEJ was voted in because he was a technocrat?? GEJ was voted because Nigerians didn't hv a better choice. Definitely not Buhari because even APC won't field him in 2015. Ngige is a trained medical doctor, a man with a lot of sense and charisma. He's what Anambra needs... and he'll definitely perform when he gets there by God's grace!!

All those e-political warlords living in Kano,Katsina,Maidugury,Lagos,Ibadan etc wil be disappointed. MARK me, Andy Uba wil clinch the Governorship election.

How can u say Nigeria didn't have a better choice? Nigeria always have a choice. If my memory serves me right, Buhari was a choice dat was rejected.

The problem is mixing sentiment with Politics like i see hear on nairaland. As for wat Anambra needs u and i can't determine dat here on nairaland. That is for teh electorate in a democrat dispensation.

The waqy Ngige was given automatic ticket in APC is in itself equally as undemocratic as the disqualification of Soludo.

Must one become a political leader or Governor before he or she betters the lives of his people? Dangote's success was never in political office. Most people believes politics is a dirty game. Why are people with supposedly clean hands poking in? How many of the world's renown personalities are politician? When we narrows our talents and giftedness into one aspect of live. We end unfilfilled. Finally, absolute peace, security and the good things of life are beyond the reach of mortal man who is fighting to direct his steps to achieve. It is only God's kingdom and its perfect ruler -Christ Jesus will give us the leadership we yawn for. Not in 100 Soludos' and others.

Wat option have u provided other than jump to next party and spend money he don't have? Provide solution, no be grammar we go chop.

Soludo is viable with APGA and dat is it, any other party and he will fail. APGA provides much needed network to support his popularity with the youths. PDM can't provide that network after only two weeks after creation.

Anambrians and Anambra State can still win this battle of selecting the right guys for the job, Ngige and Soludo as it stands controls 3/4 of all votes in Anambra State. The solution is simple, Soludo should join APC, run as Ngige's loyal Deputy for 8 Years thereby and thereafter Ngige pass the baton to Soludo who will in turn run for another 8 years.

That way Anambra would be the winner because they would have grabbed, harnessed and more or less quarantined the best candidate in Anambra Politics for a good 16 years, reminiscent of the Tinubu / Fashola Monopoly of power in Lagos which has today not only being beneficial to Lagosians in general but has made Lagos and Lagos state at large the envy of all asunder, Lagos today is a city to behold.

Lagos State today, is racing towards being a 1st class city state with Eko Atlantic City and the new Rail-Lines coming up stream, that kind of development can repeat and even magnify herself in the SE going by the industrious and boisterous nature of the Igbo's if the right men are elected, chosen and decide to work together for the good of their people and the state. This is one significant food for thought for all Anambrians and the aforementioned Politicians. undecided embarassed

Soludo as deputy Governor to Ngige in APC?

LOL = Loads of Laugh!

Soludo is better off taking up a job as Economics lecturer at UNN than do that nonsense

Ngige and APC will never win this election in Anambra

We are disappointed at Soludo's plight but to suggest Ngige is the alternative is ridiculous!

The problem with Naija Politics is everyone wants to be Cowboys no-one wants to be indians, we must learn to serve and be subservient to others if we want others to serve us. As it stands Obi has being and he is still subservient to Jonathan and APGA Party hierachy that is why he can easily play Soludo into submission.
