There was this guy who was so in love with a very beautiful, loving & caring girl, she meant the world to him but he turned to be getting tired and bored of reading her love messages everyday because they were always saying, “I love you!” “I miss you..” "I am sleeping now sweety" "I'm studying babe" or “Hey,have you had your meal my love?” One night, while lying on the bed, he received a text message from her. He just checked and saw her name, he didn’t even bother to read the message, he just ignored it & slept off.. By the morning, he got a call from his girlfriend’s mother, she was crying helplessly while telling him that his girlfriend had been murdered during the night when she was returning from a church choir rehearsal. He remembered that there was a message that came into his phone from his girlfriend which he didn't check. He got his phone and started reading it, the message said, “Honey, please come out & help me, Someone is following me, he is getting closer to me and I'm scared, I’m close to your Street….”.. The boy broke down in tears but it was already too late.. |

Efe, You have power. Poster, so the aim of this post is to show what exactly? That you must live on your phone constantly because you have a girlfriend or boyfriend? So if the story is true what exactly would the guy have done if he was miles away? Again it goes to show abuse of communication gadgets on her part, if she didn't stalk him constantly I am sure he will take messages from her seriously. Pinging every minute is not a prove of love, stop trying to emotionally blackmail people to constantly answer you "My stomach, my mummy, I want shawarma" pings. |

Wanna c a source? Why do men have to be so mean? Why is it that men must be assholes? Seriously, its a question i've always wanted answered. They feel the need to treat you as if you are an insignifigant pest who should only be around when they want something. Time and again its the same thing. It must be me, otherwise it wouldn't happen with every man i've been with. If they'd give me some kind of insight into what the hell they actually want from me then maybe I could fix things. It isn't as though I hang around constantly and always want attention. I do like to speak with him at least once a day just to touch base and see how hes doing? Is that wrong? You wouldn't think so. Things are fine one minute and then out of the blue, i'm ignored, slighted, and it kills me because I can't figure out why. If i'm doing something to piss him off the least he could do is have the courtesy to tell me what I did instead of leaving me out in the cold so to speak. Wondering what the hell I did this time and trying to figure out how I can fix shit when I don't even know what it is i'm trying to fix. Do men actually realize they do this? Is it some kind of club thing they're all involved in? "hey lets treat our girlfriends like shit today just so they start to doubt themselves and wonder what they did wrong." Dear Poster, Now that we have got Efe her source let's get back to the main issue. Don't have a negative impression about men. I suggest instead you stop looking for a mans attention for validation. Assure your self that you are worthy, beautiful and a pleasant person. People are busy, the man may be busy, or have a pushy boss like me who demands a lot from them and may not have lovey dovey time all the time. I suggest you spend more of your free time on the internet researching things, subjects and business ideas. Your life should revolve around being productive and making your self more valuable. Love and respect will come when you love, value and respect yourself, it doesn't come from constantly stalking a man demanding he responds to every ping and emotionally blackmailing him when he doesn't. There are loads of good men out there who will value a good woman but you have to love and understand yourself and your value before any one can. 1 Like |

The girl in question wasn't a toddler playing with a toy phone. Also got the brosdcast message a while back. Let's try and be realistic here aight? Whoever authored that fib obviously wants our lives to revolve around our phones. I don't understand how refusing to read a text message equals being mean. Let me break the story down a bit. someone is being stalked at night, instead of putting a call through (that couldn't have taken more than 10 seconds), she begins to type a message (that would like take more than a minute). Such action would definately slow her down, what are the chances that the message will get delivered and read immediately? As far as I'm concerned, text/instant messages are not for matters of urgency. Phonecalls are. As I type now, an instant message just entered my phone which I may not even view in an hour. If the sender is in some form of danger na OYO be that o. |
