Let get serious and proffer solution to these lingering issue.

There are 2 categories of ladies that is mostly affected.

(A) Ages 20yrs to 30yrs- this age is when you should ensure you are in the right relationship and not after fun, you need not make huge demands from your man and accept his financial standard. The shopping, cinema's and eatery things should be from him and not you insisting. You can even decline some of his offers to take you by simply saying "instead of eating out today again, why don't you take me to market so I can prepare you a good meal".
Be concerned about his prospects, his future, advice on how he can improve on his weakness and take interest in him being succesfull no matter what.
When you guys talk about marriage, he will be willing and optimistic since his "wife to be is not finacially inclined", and when he eventually get rich...you will both enjoy the wealth.

(B) This ladies of above 30yrs...now let me say this " what am going to say here is strictly my opinion".

It is only in Nigeria and some few countries that we plague the above 30yrs women, we detest them and make fun of them where they are not all at fault.
So,what is the solution for these women to get married?
The only one I can think of is polygamy... Yes, POLYGAMY.
At that age, majority of the suitors that would come are married men, many of whom want to chop and clean mouth, it is now left to you to play your cards wisely, meet his sexual demands and fill in the gaps, where the wife is not meeting up.
Accept to be a second wife if you meet a man who wishes to have one, or make yourself a second wife by being pregnant. Never go diabolical to achieve this, use your woman "power",It is not a curse to be a second wife.
Again, be nice to his first wife if eventually you become the second, you need not treat his first wife and children badly either and be submissive...this is Africa.

Like I wrote above, being a second wife and having your kids is better than to remain single. Am not saying you cannot find a single guy to date you but we all know the chances are very slim.
Most family in Nigeria and Africa will never allow their son to marry a older woman.

Let me allow peoples contribution before saying more..

Women are the cause of their own problem. ..
let me share a scenario.
My wife parents gave birth to three female's, I married one. The remaining two are over 30yrs and the only suitors coming forth are married men who genuinely wish to take them as second wife.
There mother is even the one pushing thst they should go ahead and marry those men but my wife refuses to seek my opinion because she and her mother have fought me because I want to take a second wife.

You see, if a man is willing and capable enough to marry more than one woman, we should encourage them since most African culture accept polygamy.

If we embrace polygamy totally and wives don't go about fighting each other, if they totally accept what fate beckons on yhe them.
Until then before population of singe but marriageable ladies will reduce.

Lol... Your wife and mother in-law wants your wife sister to accept proposal from married men but fought you because you wish to take a second wife.

Women can be funny... This also account for why they can easily be decieved.

The issue why most of them are single especially between 20 and 30 yrs is this: Most nigerian ladies dont know how to talk to men and by the time they realize their offensive trait and decide to change, they are already above 30... I might be biased with my observation cos i am in a similar pot about jumping out but i have seen it repeatedly with even women i am not intimate with. I would rather be single than get married to a woman that i have to run out of the house for cos she talks arrogantly.

Hmmmm......

The problem of Nigeria and other African ladies started when we embrace westernization in totality, we should have accepted development by sieving what suits us and leave what does not.

Polygamy is not a curse and its acceptable in some parts of the worl..we should allow people whose culture/tradition and religion accepts of it practise it with goodwill.

The white men that detest polygamy do not criticise any young man marrying an older woman, neither do they reject single but marriageable ladies...this cannot be said of our own society.

However, young ladies should learn to be serious minded in relationships and act when its right.

Enough of these biased conclusion pls. Don't u ever get tired of female this, female that? Females have really suffered o. Who told u it's only d females that are really desperate in a quest to find good spouse? Male desperados also abound. It's just that the female own is more visible because of society insinuations.
Ve seen 40 yrs and above guys giving testimony cos they finally found their rib. How many pple talked abt Jim iyke or Dbanj not getting married, but u ll see lots of critics if Rita Dominic was found in a party enjoying herself.
Pls let d female folk rest abeg.

Hmmm, its sad how Nigerian men look down on/ say silly things about ladies in their 30's. What if she becomes 2nd wife n can't cope? She should leave d marriage shey and be called divorcee. Well I blame d sad state of the economy for this cuz men can't make a living enough to care for their immediate needs talk more of marriage. Well for girls below 30, its time u wake up and get serious. Quit d games n childish stuffs or else u'll find urself rushing to pick any stuff (dude) off d shelf to call husband.

op, the only flaw in ur logic is that we women weren't created to share. we cannot be nice to the first wife if we can help it. we don't want our kids inheritance to be shared amongst them and their half siblings. we don't like a kingdom with two queens and we ll do all we can, including being fetish to achieve that.

think of all that ll happen to ur legacy if you kids from different wives can't keep it together? and your wives constantly insult ur memory??

just stick to being real men that we would want to marry. u can't solve all life's problems, definitely not this.

There are weddings every saturday and u sit here and say husband are scarce.Do you knw hw desperate sm men are to marry? Some of this 30+ ladies u are talking abt dont want marriage,it's a pity hw sm men alwz think women live's revolves around marriage and raising kids there's more to life than that and it's time women start understanding the fact that not all women were created to marry and give birth but help raise other people's children.
