u shud be very careful what comes out of your mouth dude,if criss angel can do all sorts of magic,david blaine,copperfield and the rest of them based on whatever they believe in and if trad healers can do their own thing based on what they believe in,why is it so hard to believe all these stuffs u said happened with go based on the GOD he worships, so because he didnt get paid by hbo,sky e.t.c for the world wide performance like these other cats then its not true, everything u have just said he did which has made u stop going to his church,ordinary 28 yr old criss angel has done loads more than that and he s not even a respected man of  GOD talk less of pastor adeboye

Shiny

Commonsense hardly explains things of God. Infact in the most cases, they are not commonsensical.

Jesus walked on water- common sense?

Virgin mary gave birth to Jesus- common sense?

even Lazarus was raised from the dead - common sense?

I dare say commonsense is usually foolishness unto GOD grin

@Fyneguy,
I don't get what u mean or what you're tryin to insinuate, though we all have freedom of expressions, but then, remember: "TOUCH NOT MINE ANNOINTED AND DO MY PROPHET NO HARM.

if u doubt pastor Adeboye's testimonies, then what will u say about someone well known to be a prostitute, she has no womb, but later gave her life to christ, she married a pastor and she has her first baby, remember, she's got no womb,now expecting her 2nd baby, i.e. God has His own way of surprising us his children or u want to call that a technology term?. It's because u've not seen anything as such (personal experience), that's y you're sounding like that. My advise to u is to get closer to God so that such things will not be a suprise to u.  wink

Why will a true child of God set anoda on fire? Is that a form of christianity or what?

Haven't you heard of freedom of information? since your post is in a public forum, I may or may not address it directly. If you do not wish it to be read then do not post at all.

@ Nobilla

Let's not use irrelevant examples to back up our sentiments.

A supposed man of God would not set another on fire. I wonder what the relevance is to the unnecessary debate here.

If a man of God shared an incredible testimony, it wouldnt hurt if you believed even if it's a lie. A false testimony does not mean God can't do such. Why?- With God all things are possible.

Now get it right: A fake man of God can say the truth- in line with the word of God- which will be beneficial to his listeners. If he's later found to be fake, the 'truths' he said stand while he passes away. At that stage, the true message remains while the fake messanger falls.

How do you find out when you people call everyone that asks question an infidel?
Re: Some Of Pastor E.A Adeboye's Testimonies by fyneguy: 5:23pm On Jun 20, 2008
@Nobilla

In the example you gave, a man of God was found to have set someone on fire. That's not a christian virtue. I dont think he would share that as a testimony.

I have no problem with unbelievers and carnal minds finding it hard to believe.

I get worried when supposed mature christians go for ''let's verify it'

if you are talking about Nigerian pastors who live flambouyantly and exhorbitantly,Pastor Adeboye,Kumuyi and Olukoya are exempted.These pastors as a lot of members that are stinkily rich but yet choose to live humbly and modestly, so be careful not to blasphem against God your creator
Re: Some Of Pastor E.A Adeboye's Testimonies by khufu: 5:39pm On Jun 20, 2008
fyneguy i beg how much dem dey pay u 4 dis campaign? at d end dem suppose elevate u to pastor o. wealthce0 how do u define blasphemy?
Re: Some Of Pastor E.A Adeboye's Testimonies by fyneguy: 5:44pm On Jun 20, 2008
wealtheCo,

that's a carnal way of determining men of God.

a thief can be humble, if thats all he needs to win ppl like u.

Let's leave the issue of men of God to God. Let's concentrate on the word and purpose of God for us.
