if u doubt pastor Adeboye's testimonies, then what will u say about someone well known to be a prostitute, she has no womb, but later gave her life to christ, she married a pastor and she has her first baby, remember, she's got no womb,now expecting her 2nd baby, i.e. God has His own way of surprising us his children or u want to call that a technology term?. If a man of God shared an incredible testimony, it wouldnt hurt if you believed even if it's a lie. A false testimony does not mean God can't do such. Why?- With God all things are possible.

Now get it right: A fake man of God can say the truth- in line with the word of God- which will be beneficial to his listeners. If he's later found to be fake, the 'truths' he said stand while he passes away. At that stage, the true message remains while the fake messanger falls.

In the example you gave, a man of God was found to have set someone on fire. That's not a christian virtue. I dont think he would share that as a testimony.
