You people think Amaechi is as politically naive as GEJ and his supporters. Amaechi is promoting and supporting the new PDP for political expediency. Since GEJ is determined to deal with Amaechi, his next step is to expel Amaechi and all his supporters including his 27 legislators and subsequently declare their seats vacant. They would then be cooling off in detention while the case lingers in court.

But with the new faction, it would be difficult to go through that route, as the two PDP will be locked in a roforofo fight for support and supremacy. The case of who is the legitimate PDP will linger on in court until a polititical solution is found, and Amaechi would be part of that solution.

So Amaechi and Co knows what they are doing, there actually expect jonathan to first use brute force, then legal gymnastics before succumbing to negotiations.
