Rebelling PDP Governors, President Jonathan, Agree To ‘ceasefire’ by aluta2: 12:28am On Sep 16, 2013
By SaharaReporters, New York
A group of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governors which met with President Goodluck Jonathan at the Aso Rock villa tonight agreed to observe a “ceasefire” until final discussions on October 7 to iron out differences they have with the president.
An aide to President Jonathan said the air around the meeting gave them hope that the disagreements between the president’s faction and the ‘New PDP’ might be resolved on that date.
But one of the governors in attendance told SaharaReporters the meeting specifically achieved only the specific purpose of compelling both sides to avoid escalating the issues further.
He some of them were opposed to issuing a statement at the end of tonight’s out of concern that it could be manipulated by the president’s team.
He pointed out that before they could iron out any differences, the governor of Cross Rivers State, Liyel Imoke, had already drafted a statement to which they agreed so as to give peace a chance. the handwritten statement was later read by the Niger State governor, Babangida Aliyu
The focus of tonight’s meeting was mostly Rivers State governor, Rotimi Amaechi, who members of Mr. Jonathan’s team presented as being too “belligerent” and having had an upper hand in the media.
The president reportedly told Amaechi to allow a statement to be issued if he doesn’t have anything personal against him.

Governor Amaechi reportedly replied he does not, adding that it would however make more sense to wait till October 7 before any statement was issued.

The meeting with the governors preceded the enlarged meeting at the villa today where they agreed not to question Mr. Jonathan’s firing of Ministers offloaded last week by.

If APGA + CPC + ANPP + ACN = APC and EFCC + ICPC
+ NPF + GEJ + JEGA = PDP,
Find:
(a) Using Pythagoras theorem prove that: PDP < APC.
(ii) Using Almighty Formula where JEGA is constant
what is the value of PDP?
(b)If Tinubu and Buhari remains constant and Okorocha
varies, what is the coefficient value of Okorocha in APC?
(c) If PDP is constant, what is the cube root of rigging
coefficient? Where pi= 16 > 19
(d) Use the Do or Die theory & explain all the answers
above before 2015.
NO CHEATING. Your time starts now....
GOODLUCK!......

I have tried finding any reasonable reason why all these northern governors are fighting Gej but no reasonable answer but selfish ethnicity bigotism. For crying out loud, these guys should allow this man to focus on his administration. I don't see the reason for all these distractions. Since this man ascended the position of leadership, it has been one crisis or the other, after creating boko haram, he has been able to curtail it while carrying out his responsibility, yet they are not happy. Everybody is saying he has not done anything, yet the two years this man has spent so far is better than 38 years the north has enslaved this country. Some foolish people like governor Aliyu whose eye is like frog is talking about one term agreement, who did he sign the agreement with? Nigerians or Northerners? These guys sucks..very soon they will realize that those their selfishness will not work come 2015. Any attempt to ridicule Gej will be the end of the fucking country called Nigeria. This is not Nigerian/ Biafra war neither will it be boko haram and burning of harmless churches. They can't win this time..because Britain is not going to support them as they did in Nigeria/Biafra war.

Rabid set of senile Northern fools who have been squandering the country's treasure for so long, and yet have the guts to publicly show their selfishness. GEJ will never cede power to the North, they can't go to hell for all I care

Are these the set of people some people want to vote for in 2015? Just look at the line up of nonentities. None of them there realy has the interest of the country at heart. They have nothing to offer.
Re: Rebelling PDP Governors, President Jonathan, Agree To ‘ceasefire’ by Nobody: 7:01am On Sep 16, 2013
Why are these people not agitating for an end to ASUU strike or improvement in the quality of governance? They know that they cannot do without the PDP so they keep hovering around. In Nigeria, it is the man who comtrols the coercive instuments that eventually wins an election.
Amaechi, the lizard that ruined his mother's funeral, looks like a rain-drenched fowl. The President has not even fought him yet. He is going to end up as the sacriicial lamb of this fight.

did'nt you read the article? The presidency is worried about ameachi's popularity in the media and the nigerian people. The "outcast" single handedly prevented a statement from being read is a joint statement where the PRESIDENT is involved. And he is the youngest person amongs them. Wow! Ameachi has done so well for himself.
