Why?
Because there was no cloth material like jeans back when jesus was said to have been on earth. Since he never saw jeans and since there is no mention on jeans in the bible, that means jeans is not forbidden.
For men or for women.

Secondly, no. It is not a sin to shave anything if your intentions for shaving are good. God is too big to bother about small irrelevant things like shaving hair or bia bia.
