It depends on individuals!
Personally, I start using babytoothbrush for my kids at 1.5years. I use it with milk teeth toothpaste.
However, I start cleaning their teeth right from the onset of the first set of teeth with cotton wool and mouthwash glycerine.

As soon as the teeth comes out, I start brushing. That's the way to do it.

Cc is right. You can even start from one year because by then the baby must have gotten some teeth. Dont use any how toothpaste. Use milk teeth paste or get a similar paste to avoid harm.

From when the first teeth come out. As babies i.e before one year old, use flouride free totthpaste definitely not milk teeth toothpaste. Milk teeth toothpaste is for babies above 1.5yrs i.e when the baby can spit out. Swallowing flouride toothpaste is not healthy for babies. When my flouride free toothpaste finished, i started using glycerin and water but didn'teally like it. If there is no other one to use, use very little like a dot of it.

Have you seen people with brown teeth and specks of white giving a mottled look? its caused from too much flouride as kids.

See them licking the toothpaste,
