Job Title Marketing/Business Development Manager

Business Objective: [/b]To generate and develop sales up to 5 to 10 million dollars per annum.

[b]Core Working Relationships: Project Manager, Managing Director, Engineers, HR Manager.

Accountabilities (Responsibilities)
• Assessment of marketing opportunities.
• Generating leads for possible sales.
• Gathering intelligence on Customers and Competitors.
• Follow-up on sales opportunities.
• Bid preparation and proposal writing.
• Keep up to date with industry trends and competition.
• Proactively keep in touch with important prospects.
• Will be responsible for bringing in a minimum amount of business per quarter, with a detailed plan.
• Develop the marketing materials like brochures and presentations and present to prospective clients and customers.
• Work with Colleagues in the preparation of quotations and responding to RFQs (Request for Quotations).
• Have a thorough and in-depth understanding of Company’s products and services.
• Come up with marketing strategies.

Requirements
• 5 to 7 years of Business to Business marketing and Business development experience.
• A good first degree preferably in a numerate discipline.
• Must be proactive.
• Must have a very good understanding of the Nigerian oil and gas industry tendering process
• An understanding of basic engineering principles will be an advantage.
• An understanding of the Engineering Design, Fabrication and Project Management Industry is essential.
• Must be very good in written communications and presentations.
• Must have a sense of responsibility and dedication.
• Ability to work under pressure is essential.
