Most christians that put their trust in their pastors & their teachings are corrupt. They are also spiritually, mentally & physically lazy. The word of God as written in the bible & its universal application for the wellbeing of mankind is the standard. The bible says that charity begins at home. Most pastors try to dissociate their congregation from their families so as to take firm control of them. And most of them use this means to extort them of their resources. Establishment of churches is now a booming business because of the financial benefits. A lot of fake pastors are involved in 419, theft, kidnapping, rape, politics etc. to earn a living. Obviously a lot of them were not called by God into the ministry.

A pastor can give advice, many times telling you to pray and know the mind of God yourself.
The pastor will answer for himself the last day. And so will each of us

Pls take note we hv few pastors but many preachers. The persons most of us refers to as pastors, are really not pastors. We hv so many babes on the pulpit yet we call them pastors just dsame way we hv so many church goers that are called christians
See, I am not a pastor, so don't think I am one that is y I am writing the next few lines.
Regardless of how anointed.and knowledgible u are, everybody needs a pastor and it is God that gives pastors to his children. So don't just use ur legs and walk into any church, confirm from God who he has place over you.
The person might hv personal isssues he is battling wit because we are all runing our own different race but the nourishment u need God will thru him provide for u.
