Tecno Telecom has released Tecno P5, a successor for it’s Tecno D3 and D5 line. The P5 is more or less a refreshed version of the D5 with 3G connectivity, improved camera and a newer Android OS.

The P5 is equipped with a 5-megapixel camera, aided by LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera. Under the hood, the Tecno P5 retains the 512MB of RAM, dual-core processor clocked at 1GHz and 1800mAh removable battery found in the D5. A jump from Android 4.0.1 Ice Cream Sandwich on the D5 to 4.2.2 Jelly Bean is also noted for the P5.
