My wife and I are first timers in this car thing,so we are looking at two toyota brands,the 1999 camry and 1999 avensis,both are automatic(with the avensis not converted)...my wife likes the avensis cos of the sporty build and fuel economy,while most of ma friends use the camry,we want a car we can resell after some years,so I need advice from you guys here,Ikenna Siena et all..

I am gradually leaning towards the avensis as the fuel economy seems better than the camry..

The Avensis is a wiser option since you want to resell it in future most Nigerian buyers love fuel economy and class as well so I feel the Avensis is a better choice

Resale value?
Fuel economy?

Me thinks if resale value is an issue, then it would be a camry

But

of fuel economy is the issue, then it would be the avensis.

Correct me if I am wrong,

the herd mentality is more in favour of a camry or a corolla than an avensis

better option if
1.you want to resell at prices close to what you bought the Camry and also
2.care about the time it will take to dispose of car, when you are done with it because there is always a market for a well-taken care of Camry not so sure about the avensis
