Earlier this month I was holiday with my family in Nairobi Kenya. this is our first family holiday with my 2children and wife. We were in many of the shopping malls but not Westgate. we just came back 2nd week of September. the question on my mind is what if I was still in Nairobi at time that the terrorist struck, how would I have been?

I hardly comment on other section except business section, I followed your thread on how you spent your holiday in Kenya with your family. The first thing I remembered was your thread when the news broke out on Aljazeerah and I noticed 70% of the victims were on holiday as well.
I have been dreaming of giving my family the same treatment most especially to witness the biogas installation in Kenya. This act of terrorism scare me to my pant.

@chemashie thanks for your comments and wish. It is really scary. But my view on such is that even in places like us and uk it also happens. We just need to thank God for his protection.

am glad you folks weren't around, I can imagine the phone calls from Nigeria, to ascertain your safety just as friends and Family have been calling my line. Am currently outside Kenya but would be heading back to Nairobi next week. I don't feel scared heading back though family have warned me to keep off shopping malls but what will it be like to be there and not go to the malls. Sha, The Lord is our Shepherd.

@ bluerange terrorist have no boundaries anymore. It is kenya today it could be another country tomorrow. But like you said one doesnt need to be too afraid. Just be prayerful.
