El-Rufai for President by Seye(m): 3:57pm On Aug 26, 2005
He will be a good president. This young man is fearles and very blunt. He doesn't care you are or what you call yourself, he is brilliant too, and I think that's the kind Nigeria need for now. Nigerians what do you think?.

Will he ever get the chance, look at how whe was removed from his former position. Corrupt Nigerians hate people like him.

Are you talking about the same man that has a case with EFCC for claiming peoples hard earned property in favour of the FG and also giving some to his relatives in Abuja? now also thinking of being a president, uh i stand more chances than this man if i come out to contest before Nigerians.
Re: El-Rufai for President by chidichris(m): 1:25pm On May 19, 2009
i can see hardship at work. if not for the situation in nigeria, how will a normal person mention el rufai for president? any good leader that is afraid of accountability is very close to satan.
why will the slowpoke run away after his good works? can a good leader run away from accountability? before he will become president, we expect him to first of all come and clear the mess he has back home.

Are you a paid agent or just a misguided, ill informed too-lazy-to-think person?
How did El-Rufai become so reputable in your eyes to be capable of been a good president? You probably never heard of NITEL and Pentascope, AP and Okocha: those were controversial and fraudulent transactions (privatisation) handled by El-Rufai.

How did that guy even made his money? He had been a civil servant/public officer all his life (talk about not being corrupt).

For those who may be blind: This El-Rufai/Ribadu for president was probably an OBJ/El-Rufai/Ribadu ultimate agenda (believing Yar' Adua will not make a 2nd term & remain a loyal OBJ boy).

undecidedAm I speculating? Okay. Check the course the guy decided to enrol for immediately he left ministerial office!

In my opinion anyone proposing a president who have no record of effective private/corporate acheivement in the next 20 years does not have good idea of what Nigeria really needs. We should keep all these set of people whose only working experience is the corrupted Nigerian public sector out the presidency/governoship of this nation. They have done enough harm already.

Quite frankly, I prefer him to Buhari and I have some faith in his abilities. I love the way he cleaned up Abuja when he was FCT minister. Such BALLS OF STEEL are needed in today's Nigeria bearing in mind applicable human rights (That's where Buhari failed woefully).

I'm still learning more about his "negatives". Time will tell.

I just wonder why Sanusi Lamido Sanusi said he is not interested in active politics. He in my opinion would have been perfect.

In your opinion, El rufai was a poor brat and nobody, No records of achievement, until Obj made him minister??, is that what you want us to believe? mind you, he did well as the Minister of the FCT, you are forcing me to believe you one of the guys whose house was built over a natural drain channel and was eventually bulldozed.

Re: El-Rufai for President by Kizilala: 2:07pm On Sep 08, 2011
He is a very sectional idiot and religious bigot. He built a mosque at the Garki modern market when he was the FCT minister but never bothered to build a church. He the defended the ex commissioner of police that ordered the massacre of the Apo six. The man should never smell that office
Re: El-Rufai for President by farouqb(m): 3:03pm On Sep 08, 2011
I strongly believe El Rufa'i will be a good leader the kind of leader Nigeria and Nigerians deserve, a leader that can step on toes and keep to his words, we need little politics in governance but big action nd that I find in El Rufai. For those of us searching for a saint 'keep searching'
