Corruption In Federal University, Oye-ekiti (fuoye)..a Cry Out!!! by petealmark: 8:38pm On Sep 28, 2013
An adage says 'when a goat is pursued to a point of no escape, it turns its back on the pursuer' this best describes the seemingly helplessness of Federal University of Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) members of staff. knowing fully well that a new university can only have workers' Union after a specified period of time, the authority capitalized on this to short-change its staff in the area of entitlements.
in Federal University, Lokoja, Kogi state, their RELOCATION or 28days allowance was paid immediately they were given their appointment letters while arrears of HAZARD allowance was paid 3 days ago in this month of September. in Federal University, Dutsin-ma, Katsina State, the same thing happened which makes us wonder why FUOYE's own should be different.
it is an obvious fact that the authority is taking advantage of the fact that there is no workers' union in place to fight for these entitlements but i believe that the commission concerned can do something if this post is eventually seen in this noble and respectable forum.
worthy of mention is also the pension fund which has not been remitted into various PFAs accounts since the staff resumption in 2011. the question is , who has the custody of the funds and why?
concerned staff of the institution are therefore using this medium to appeal to the National Universities Commission (NUC) and the EFCC to come to our rescue and save us from the deep-rooted corruption going on presently in our university.
(please mods, help bring this to front page)
God bless us all.

So you guys have started EATING salary at the new federal universities? But when some NL-resident-fools deny the existence of these universities, we dont see workers from those universities set the records straight? If not that some of you now have issues with allowances, we wouldn't have heard anything. Chop and clean mouth syndrome is not good oh!

so because he has never commented on any of the universities post, he doesn't have the right to point out the ills going on in the society. try and be objective my brother. address the issue and move on.
