For some reasons, I didn’t doubt BlackBerry when rumors spreading like wild-fire all over the internet suggesting that BBM would find a home in iOS and Android was confirmed by Thorsten Heins. I disposed off my BlackBerry 9700 and got a Sony Xperia Z four months ago because I was certain, I mean, it was confirmed; BBM for Android. So there was nothing going to stop the transition, I thought.

Funny enough, I had bragged about BBM on my Xperia Z to a couple of friends who can’t stop intimacy with BlackBerry and they didn’t budge. They had their reservation and skepticism but I didn’t care altogether because I knew I was going to put them to shame on the 21st of September.

That day finally came and lot of news about BBM on cross-platforms filled the airways. I decided to quickly download it from Google Playstore so I could write a comprehensive review about it. On getting to PlayStore, I was shocked and for the first time in my entire adult life, I looked like a complete slowpoke right inside Google PlayStore. They where so many BBM apk files and I was really skeptical about all those files as they could be collecting my data illegitimately.

I quickly went over BlackBerry’s official website and I realized that BlackBerry had failed again. A promise has been broken, leaving lot of loyal fans in total confusion. What did you do BlackBerry? You gave me NOTHING, absolutely nothing but shame! Over one week has gone and you still can’t get your act together, yet you asked me to be patient on Twitter? Thanks, but keep your BBM to yourself!
