Wifey took the day off to do tiny braids and she came home feeling exhausted.

- the entire process took almost 8 hours (two braiders most of the time)

- it cost $200!!!

- Now she cant even sleep comfortably for the next few days because her head hurts and her neck is stiff....and I cant touch!!

- the braids are not on her head forever..she'll be taking them off in about 2 months max.

- she'll have to spend some hours taking them off again and maybe some money in the process.

- God help you if your wife has a big head ...double the number of hours!

- The money and time increases geometrically with every daughter you have!

Before you say you are doing the braids to look good for us, we'll have you remember that braids are not the only hairstyle you look good with..and we care more about what's on the inside of you smiley

Braids are really worth it Unlike weavons which you have to brush and style all day. A simple braid and you're good to go. Braids also last longer.

I can never do a million braids except it comes in a wig.
There's no way Im going to sit for over 6hrs just to make hair I will carry for only 2months.
I dont have that kind of patience.

women prefer some hairstyles over others and no matter how much or how many hours it'll take to get it done, as long as it looks good on them and they're comfy wearing it, to them it's truly worth the stress and wait.

Guys let's be honest here. We can't be satisfied. You see, if these ladies insist on doing peruvian, malaysian hair, we will go haywire saying it's expensive. Braids is economical if you ask me. It can go on for 2 months which to me saves money rather than over-hyped borrowed hair.

Well ladies, you'd better sit there for several hours, and do less-than-ten thousand naira-braid which will last 2 months than coming to me with tale of brazillian hair stories. Arghh undecided cheesy grin

I get bored sitting while my hair(natural) is plaited.

I cannot imagine sitting for hours for the thousand braids.

To me, it is a waste of time. I cannot be caught at it.

Women are really funny, from Braids to Brazillian, Venezuelan, Mexican, Indian and Caribbean weaveons. Haba, una no de tire? Person wey fine, fine and person wey ugly, ugly no matter the kinda hair you fixed. Truth is, most guys don't even know the difference between all these hairstyles.

you forgot to add that often they experience hair loss from excessive braiding of their hair.
Anyway for me it's that time they braid newly that I like looking for their trouble by pulling their hair in a playful manner.

Braids is the truth, y'all. After the first two days of pain and discomfort, you begin to get your money's worth. I usually do big box/kinky braids and it doesn't take my hairdresser more than 4 hours. I normally leave my braids in for 3 months with washing/co-washing every 2 weeks. It is the best form of protective styling, in my opinion. In short, braids rock.

''....if a woman have long hair , it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering''- 1corinthians 11:15.

Bible is even in support of it.

So it worth it! cheesy

They're awfully expensive, take literally all day, and can be painful during the first few days. I've never seen any worth in it, which is why I've never had them done. They work for some people though. To each, his or her own.
