Having played both these games through the years back and forth through the different series I still am of the opinion that PES edges Fifa, it all depends on how you get your freak on.
Fifa - If graphics are your thing (well up till 2014 where the PES fox engine totally anihilates it), if you need the name of arsenal to be arsenal. Konami has an uphill task here, while fifa can basically grab most of the stuff i believe for free konami finds it harder to get the license. Commentary I agree as well fifa edges PES, thats about it for FIFA. IF you enjoying playing shots at awkward angles using a players weak foot and watch it rifle into the net then fifa is your thing.

PES - This is for people with a football sense, PES 2013 is still for me the best soccer game ever. When I say to people that PES has a heart people never understand, but when you play a game and do what you would love to do in real life and you see it happen, that my dear friends is what fifa lacks. That last ditch slide, that first time high through pass, that shoulder to shoulder struggle between PEPE and ZLATAN------TOTALLY PRICELESS. For those who say defending is about holding X then kindly up your game, better still up the people you play with.

I and my brother have played the whole series of PES and I can tell you, having also played FIFA.

PES is the best.

This is something I ll teach my wife to be, cos I can't give up playing PES even at old age.

PES hands down. I kill with Real madrid.

Wow.Its been a vry long time i played soccer game.But i would choose pes over fifa..,i would also choose winning 11 over pes and fifa,there is no 2much cheat in winning 11,u would av to play good football to score a goal in winning 11 not like pes and fifa that you can score from anywhr.Winning 11 is the real deal for me.,weda i go even remember how to hold joystick again.

commot here lie lie. if you want the real thing or something near to the real thing go for fifa. near real commentaries real movement infact something near to the real thing it is fifa. if then you want fantasy football go for pes. That is why fifa is harder than pes. you guys just don't have the time to get used to fifa that is why you condemn it and go to play pes where one player can run from post to post through out the match without getting tired. that is not foot ball

You break your cd or bd or dvd because the computer usually flogs you with goals. it was like that for me but I humbled my self and brought down the level and learn and got used to fifa. I will not say I am that good now but it ie still better than pes. pes was good in ps 1 and ps2 era definitely not in ps3 era
