shymexx: Can we throw Youssou N'dour and Salif Keita in there? Sure I don't really like either musician too much though, though their older stuff was better. I feel that they have become too mainstreamed. I like listening to non-mainstreamed music because it is African music in its purest form unadulterated. A lot of these artists never get a chance to be known anyways even if they produce beautiful music. |
