I got married 4 months ago.

My wife is very worried now that she is yet to become pregnant, despite all the love making, she is still menstruating.
I am now worried because of her worry.

What do I do?

If she is not settled and keep stressing herself chances are the pregnancy may not come on time, it needs a relaxed mind and at 4 months why is she so stressed? Please tell her to take her mind off it, calculate her fertile period and have sex around that time. Its still early now, she needs not start the marriage on this note pls, she should please enjoy her honeymoon while it lasted because when the kids start arriving its another story. A bit too early to be worried ok?

Tell her to try not to worry, tho she may find this difficult, but being stressed won't make the pregnancy happen quicker. It's said for couples trying for babies 50% will be pregnant in 4 months, 75% will be pregnant in 8 months and 90% will be pregnant in 1 year and even then those are just man made statistics. If God wants it to happen tommorrow it will happen there is a time for everything. My advice is to stay positive and pray

I feel your pain bro. Having babies could be very difficult for some couples. This is my advice to you; I'll say wait for Gods time, but Gods time takes too long. Have you been to clinic for check-up?? Make sure you undergo fertility tests and see what te result will be. Or you go for a much more simple method called artificial insemination. This has been known to work for most couples with child birth problems. IVF is also a popular form of A.I.
If you need a child real bad, I suggest you seek out medical advice although it might be expensive, but it's worth it. You could even choose the sex of the child.

Just four months and you have started complaining ,what is wrong about your wife menstruating , have you check yourself to start with

I am sorry to say that u misjudged my situation.

Maybe this will help u understand d situation, My weight was 87pounds before my wedding, now I am 88pounds. and My wife? she was 62pounds before the wedding, now she's 57pounds because of worry.

It is not that I dont want to have children. i do want the babies, but I am not that anxious afterall I have to cater for the family.
and to say the truth that has not been quite easy even with us being only two. But she is more anxious because she thinks everyday about it. Stressing herself. I have tried to talk to her many times. To no avail.

But thanks to all of u dat have contributed one way or the other, we have gone to the clinic for check-up and awaiting the results of the tests we took.

my dear johnny, i feel ur pain but you shld try and bring ur wife
under control. stressing her self up for a child at this early stage
will do more harm than good to her especially. i encountered
the same problem with ma wife but she had to calm down
and relax more often and by the grace of GOD, we're now expectng.

My advice to you and her is: First Pray together about it and relaxe your mind. Secondly, carry out some test to make sure none of you have any infections. Thirdly, stay off sex from the first day she sees her period till the 13th day. (Reason, to increase your sperm count waiting for the D-day). but first both of you need to know when she ovulate since not all women ovulate at the 14th day after the last period. How? a week after her menstruation carry-out an ultrascan to monitor her egg growth,that is when its likely to ripe and release (ovulation). lets assumes she ovulates on the day 14th after her LMP. so on day 13th night make love to her,let her lie on her side for a minimum of 20-30 min uninterrupted after the lovemaking. on the 14th Morning repeat the same and if you so wish again in the evening till the 16th day. after these stage of calculation. you can now have sex at random as you so desire.

If you need more explanation on this topic, i will be willing to give them to you.

Get her an Ovulating Kit and this kit will tell her the best 3 days to get pregnant.

Some women don't know when they are ovulating, so if they miss this time, which is just roughly 3 to 4 days, (ask your doctor), they will have to wait another month.

During the ovulating period, she will definitely get pregnant.

I think all have spoken well and i join them to say the same that when one is worried, pregnancy can hardly come.

On the other hand, i wonder why the panick at this early stage when she should be enjoying her honeymoon.

If the pressure is not from you nor any of your family member which i guess will not cos its too early, then get her to tell you her reasons of being afraid.

Did she commit before marriage, or was she told she will not have an issue or something like that. Only some of these can cause fear and worries this early.

She should take it easy and things will work out well. I wish you both your heart desires.

Tell your wife to put her trust in God, very soon she will be pregnant, four months is too early for her to start being worried.
