PHOTO: Boko Haram Leader, Shekau Lifeless On Hospital Bed

The question of whether Nigeria's number one enemy, Ibrahim Shekau, the leader of the dreaded sect Boko Haram, is alive or dead still remains unanswered.

According to security report, they said he may have died as a result of wounds he sustained during a shoot-out with security agents sometime in july. He was almost captured, but his aides managed to evacuate him across the border to cameroun.

They said Shekau didn't make it but there was no evidence to prove it, until recently when this picture surfaced, showing him on hospital bed and looking lifeless.

Whether he's alive or not, I suspect these Boko boys will be undaunted. They should forget about him and continue to expunge them regardless of their ranks.

When politicians were toying with the military by arbitrarily sacking very competent hands and promoting nepotism, this is the results. If our military are gradually been reduced to only 'monster looking gun carriers' without any iota of the present day military intelligence, then we should never contemplate defending our selves against external aggression. If not for international bodies like the U.N. Ghana or Cameroun would have since test their superiority over us by recolonizing us. Eventhough some people have been programmed never to see anything good in others, this could not have happened under Abacha. No way!
