I will like to bring to your notice a desire to bring young people (Male & Female) interested in Agro Processing and Marketing starting in Lagos State. Trust me, the most important point of Agriculture in the Agriculture value chain is the processing.

I am currently the Chairman of the Organizing Committee of Lagos State Marketing & Agro-Processors (LASAMAP) world food day holding in the next few weeks here in Nigeria.

A major benefit of joining this cooperative thats is about to be born is the training opportunities that members are exposed to at subsidized costs. Recently, we have conducted trainings on processing on pap making, plantain flour processing and Soya Milk processing.

I will be very interested in taking this further if i am able to get the interest of 100 people. As the interests grows, i will be sharing photographs of the last training we conducted on catfish processing last saturday in a RCCG church in Meiran, Ogun State.

I will be attending to responses from late this evening as i will be attending an export seminat this morning, so please dont feel ignored if you do not read from me until later today.

Hi Ademat, i do appeeciate your concerns. But we must remember that theres a market for every product, provided it meets a need and a niche is carved out for the market.

We eat everyday. If you look at the future of Agro, the ultimate would be to focus on processing and value adding.

Trust me, if we take whst we have to do seriously with the right quality, market is never a problem.

You try and do an analysis of the noddles market. Indomie started that market, do you know how many noddles brands we have now? The market has been shared.
