This case has been going on for a while now. The GEJ government seems to think that they've given ASUU quite a bulky sum, which surpasses what they've received from any past government concerning this strike issue. Yet, ASUU still demands more. What do you think? Do you think their demands are frivolous? Do you think ASUU should excercise some more patience like they've been doing over the years?

Asking for TRILLIONS? They're not serious. Their hidden agenda may even be to use all that money to overthrow the government

LOL. I just think its a political strategy to frustrate the GEJ government. Note that not all ASUU members are in support of the strike. Its their arrow heads who are.

They have been infiltrated by the northern elites who are hell bent in frustrating GEJ's govt.Their agenda and demands are dermonic and wicked. They only care for their selfish interests without considering the poor students who are caught up in their struggle.
Lecturers go chop salary, chop allowance, chop sorting money, chop handout money and finally them go still chop in kind.

Exactly. Its not the normal strike we know again. Its all politics. They are playing politics on the lives of the future leaders, and soon they'll say they are ''fighting for the students too''..

Even If they are given the trillions they are asking for.....whats the assurance that they'll even use it for developing education,Na Nigeria we dey.....a body should inspect the use of that money....its just like when u hear your family member has been appointed as governor or president, you are not happy because your family is gonna serve the nation, but the gain(mostly financially) your family will merit from That office.

If someone can be eating 1billion naira food yearly, i think is not too much for thousands of lecturer to share 3trillion naira

Lol. This is funny because most of you don't even understand the agreement. You see, the government was supposed to deposit a certain number of billions into the education (universities) sector every year. Note, the money won't be given to ASUU directly, but to the universities through the Educational Trust Fund. Why they're demanding for the figure in trillions now is because the Federal Government has defaulted in its payment of the agreed sum since 2009. So the 1.3 trillion is actually the cumulative sum that the government is owing as concerned with the agreement. ASUU didn't pull this amount out of their ass, they're just demanding that the government fulfill it's obligations UP TO DATE.
