Note: If you just purchase a new android device and probably u have used it for a while my advice for is to back up your data. E.g. Contacts (export them to SD by accessing contacts settings). This will be stored in your SD as (00001.vcf). You restore this by click on the file name. Messages can be backed up by using some message backup apps on google play store, some require root access.

Steps to Root Tecno P3
Ensure you have up to 20mb with a 3G network
Go to settings, Privacy and do a factory reset. Don’t tick SD else data on SD will be erased.
Remove One SIM
Steps:
Download and install poot.apk using the link above
Launch poot, it will require to download and install ministro from google play store.
Launch poot it will require you to download and also install qt libraries. This will take about 10mins to 20mins. With about 10 to 11 mb of data.
Then make sure you move them to phone memory.
After installation of ministro launch poot again now you will have two buttons.
Press poot. If phone freezes and switches off, remove battery and reboot quickly go back to launch poot, if successful you will have 3 buttons, press 2nd button Download superuser and launch it, then download rootchecker and launch it, click verify root access it will require access which superuser will grant by allowing it.
If you get congratulations you now have root access. Then your phone is rooted. Congrats!
Else if you get demon materialized, remove battery and try again step 5 again.

Partitioning and Using LINK2SD
After rooting u can uninstall poot and ministro to recover used space. But don’t uninstall superuser and rootchecker.
Before we proceed to using link2sd we must reformat our phone again to gain enough space and also partition our MICROSD. Reformatting the phone will not unroot the phone, we only have to reinstall superuser and rootchecker to gain back root access.
Get ES file explorer from Okey.
Use ES file explorer to access root explorer and back up your apps and data first.
Use it to access root explorer option in ES file explorer to uninstall some system apps which include; these are the only user system apps required to uninstall. DON’T GO BEYON THIS
Make sure you back up first. Though u can download again.

Facebook
Flashshare
Opera mini
Maps
Youtube
Dictionary
Now after uninstalling go to setting and do a factory reset. This will leave your phone empty left with just its system apps. Never temper with them.
Now install super user and rootchecker again. Launch superuser first then secondly launch rootchecker to verify root access. If verification is successful you have regained root access.
Partitioning
Now download minitoolpartition wizard. Google this application and download it.
First launch minitool wizard using a computer.
Insert your MICROSD into a card reader.
Back up all data inside your micro sd into a folder in a pc.
Open minitool and locate your Microsd it should be a 7.6gb fat32 storage.
(Be careful here!!!)
Delete the entire partition of your microsd. Now you will have unallocated space in black. Note every change made.
Now right click on it and create a new partition of it. Set it as Primary, Set file system as fat32, using the meter bar assign 6.3gb to first partition and click ok.
Select the remaining unallocated space. Create the second partition set it as primary and set file system as extd4, using the remaining space left about 500 megabyte plus. Click ok.
At the top left corner of minitool, click apply and then ok for the next dialogue box. Then wait for about 20mins.
You notice that your memory card has reduced size. Copy back your apps and boot your phone again.

Using LINK2SD

Reboot your phone download and install link2sd, it will require root access allow it.
You will be prompted to select extenstion file system part of where mount script will made select extd4. This will reboot your phone.
Now you start installing all the apps you want.
Go to settings of link2sd set as autolink.
But install the heavy apps first.
Select the filter icon, and select on sdcard. This option will generate the apps on sdcard.
Now click on each app installed and create link. This will be linked to extd4 we created earlier.
Also check that every app you link does show you MOVE TO SDCARD when you check manage apps in phone settings. If it does show you, move it to sdcard.
All user apps must not show move2sd, the option should show move to phone or its been disabled.
Do this for every app installed and always link one after another. Then cross check it on manage apps to be sure its not showing move2sd.
