Hi nairalanders,please advise-KPMG or BAKER HUGHES OIL SERVICE.
I got called by the two firms at the same time to begin . Some say you go for the PAY. Others say you go for THE REPUTATION.

PLEASE I NEED YOUR ADVICE

Depends on what you read and where you are going. For instance, if you read engineering and are looking for a career in a field related to your course, you should pick baker. If you are more into management, diverse knowledge, then pick kpmg. both companies offer substantial training in their fields though baker's is more streamlined and quite useless outside that field. But kpmg's can be used in a few other fields.

Basically take baker if u want to be an oil and gas person for the rest of your life and kpmg if you wanna move around.

I will advise u quickly grab baker hughes before it falls off.
U will have instant access to international exposure and u are sure of speedy growth in terms of skills and pepper(Money) esp if u are an Engineering student.
