Oya Nairaland sing along . . . . Alex O. It takes some time to bubble and shuffle After-all nah hussle and bustle Everybody wan talk in face And nobody wan talk in age If you just go ask a lagos mama say Nah how many years you de celebrate She holla and halla and shout back at you And Say nah wetin be your bisness I fit celebrate 21 today And the last time nah 22 The next one fit be 20 So just bubble and shuffle And forget about my age. MI, Mode 9... got nothing on this rap. |

Oldies all the way, wonderful music, great concept, i am thrilled to be part of the generation that listen to most of these musician though very very young then. The days of TV programme like checkmate, indian movie of 3 hours+ hey, you guys have not mention anything from Ebenezer Obey. There is the song also maybe by christy, Oun to ba dari ma ra fun omomi, Joromi, and lot more, growing up was wonderful. Listening to music from my mum Tradient Radio and Dad turn table. God bless you OP....you will find more mature nairalander here. Do you notice that some of the music sang meaningful song even though they didn't sing in their language? That was when Nigeria was highly di-trabalize before the Babaginda era. 2 Likes |

SmashingM: I prefer these music of yesteryears to the noise of nowadays. People call me old school but i don't mindrather be an old school than go deaf with these unsonorous harps called new school music! #gbam# 1 Like |
