South Africa is rated Africa's no 1 vehicle manufacturer and exporter. This is because Nissan and BMW have huge car plants there. Nobody says ''South Africa does not make or export vehicles, afterall it is Nissan and BMW who own the plants!!''.

Even in the UK, German company BMW now OWNS Rolls Royce (formerly British-owned) and builds the cars in the UK and exports from there. No one says ''Ah! UK does not build or export Rolls Royce because it is Germans who now own Rolls Royce!''
