TONY NWOYE AND ANAMBRA PDP GAVE SUPPORT TO PAUL UNIVERSITY, ACHINA....I WAS GLAD WHEN THEY SAY UNTO ME, LETS GO INTO THE HOUSE OF THE LORG (Psalm 122:1)

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in Anambra Guber Election Comrade Tony Nwoye led a delegation of Party stalwarts that includes Hon Tony Macfoy Akachukwu, Hon Afam Obi, Hon Egwuatu Ejiofor, Hon Tony Nwanbuona,Hon Boniface Okonkwo, Barr Clement Ezika, Hon Uchenna Umerie, Chief Kenneth Arinze ,party leaders, Party representatives and supporters from various Local Governments in the state to support the fund raising and launching of Peters University, Achina

Peters University Achina is a Private non-profit University being built in Anambra State by the Catholic Dioceses `of Awka. While speaking at the event, Comrade Tony Nwoye stated that he was glad to be invited to be part of the Launching, one as a devote catholic and also as a fervent believer that Education should form the basic foundation for growth, empowernment and development of every society. Comrade Tony Nwoye also called on friends and supporters who also gave support to Peter’s University Project while pledging to do more for the University if he eventually emerges as the Governor of the State in November 16th Poll.

Friends and Party faithfuls that accompanied Comrade Nwoye to the launching who spoke with members of the ICT Unit explained that the PDP places great emphasis on Education and maintained that Education and access to Learning opportunities must be made available to every child of the state irrespective of religious, political or cultural inclinations.

A Party Stalwart Hon Boniface Okonkwo frowned at the present status quo in the state where students, especially the indigents are being expelled from school simply because they cannot afford school fees that has sky-rocketed because of the insincere academic policies of the present administration in the state. He concluded that education is a right and not a privilege and must be made free or atleast affordable so that the poorest of the poor can go to school and be empowered.

Free and access to quality education remains a fundamental bedrock of Comrade Tony Nwoye’s Manifesto. Hon Tony Nwabuona when contacted, gave kudos to the PDP Leadership for showing support to Peter’s University Project. In his words ‘’The Peoples Democratic Party in Anambra State is committed to employment and empowerment of Anambrarians’’ while also noting that access to Education remains the best legacy we can bequeath to our Children.

In his concluding remarks while speaking with supporters of the party Comrade Tony Nwoye quoted Psalm 122:1 (I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the lord) explaining that as Christians, we must all contribute individually and collectively to support the work of God in our various communities and to live as worthy Christians wherever we find ourselves
