Death:
If you fear, one day, death will take you.
If you are bold, one day death will take you.
If you fear of death, and you refuse to fight for the rights of the poor because of being kill, one day, death will kill you by himself.
If you are rich, and you refuse to use your richness to defend the poor masses, the messengers of death will first waste your riches and finally blow you. If you are in position today to help the masses, do so, tomoRrow may be too late.

The story is not true. Akhigbe is alive. The truth is that he was sick and came back home two months back and recently fall sick again. I have received over 40 calls today about this story. I do not know where naija journalist got this fake news from. Anyway, he is sick but not dead. Pls removed this story from the front page.

Former VP Mike Akhigbe Is Alive

28.10.2013, 6:44

In the early hours of October 28, 2013, Monday, several Nigerian Internet media sources published statements about the death of the Former Chief of General Staff, Vice Admiral Mike Akhigbe.

Reports of THISDAY newspapers, further reposted by 24/7 Nigeria News Update and several others claimed that Mike Akhigbe died at the weekend in England, after losing his battle with cancer.

Nevertheless, a reliable family source confirmed to NAIJ.com in a telephone conversation that Vice Admiral Akhigbe is alive.

It would be noted that several minutes ago the article about Akhigbe's death disappeared from THISDAY website, as well as from several others, also proving that the initial statements were false.

More to follow...
