Justice Isa Ayo Salami PCA has finnally bowed out of the bench.t This is sequel to his attaining the mandatory retirement age. He has to retire despite his on-going inconclusive status because whatever the outcome may be, he cannot continue to hold the possition beyond the mandatory retirement age. Like him or hate him, Justice Salami has played a prominent role in our current political dispensation. It will be recalled that it was due largerly to judgements emanatinf from the court of Appeal under his watch that an ammendment was made to the electoral Act which now made it impossible for the court of appeal to unseat any Governor again!!!....here's wishing the baba a peaceful retirement Please feel free to share your thoughts on this enigma. |
