I am interested in launching a website like OLX or similar concept. Apart from advert placement which I know will not generate a premium amount of money at the immediate. How else can I make money from my website considering the fact that people will place contents free of charge. How does OLX or Vconnect for example make money? considering the fact that they place very minimal ads on the site how do they manage to spend big money to do outdoors and TV adverts to promote the website.

It is another business you can run as an individual or help companies to run their online campaigns; it is costly at times but you can get good ROI.

The traffic am talking about is quality high traffic.
Most sites that have visitors like that offers something people find very useful and not junk information. e.g email(productivity), news portal(informative), classified ad site(trading), quality blogs not the one you started just for money.

Advertisers are hungry to find the right place to place their ad at any time because they know how it works.
Actually, there are many things involved. E.g. your site visitor demographics which is very important.

Try to build an Authority Site and you'll see what i'm saying.

The internet is an opportunity for our generation. Make good use of it and remember don't be evil!

I think making money on the internet is about 2 things.

1. Finding what people need/ where they need it. (You can call this niche)
2. Getting them to see your solution. (You can call this traffic)

Often, you can have a very good idea but lack of support will kill it.
