My name is Kelechi Chiboka, owner of a start up business- SixtinBarz Networks Limited. I resigned from the bank in 2009 to start a media production company but faced major challenges marketing my business to potential clients with the limited funds I had. This led me to come up with this idea which has just become active recently.

Universal Transact (www.universaltransact.com) was created primarily with the small business owner in mind. As a start-up, most business owners/entrepreneurs face major challenges marketing their products and services due to limited funds. This business networking site is aimed at solving 3 major issues for the small business owner by:
1) creating a presence within the global business community
2) providing direct access to a global pool of potential business clients
3) providing tools for easy communication and advertising

The bigger companies also stand to benefit from this site as they have access to smaller businesses to outsource most of their jobs thereby reducing overhead costs significantly.

The government agencies are not left out as they will have better understanding of the business communities within their locality and internationally, which in turn helps better economic policy decisions.
