Imagine having a wedding reception where the number of uninvited guests is more than those invited. Thanks to gate crashers this so often happens as people looking to have a good time at the expense of invited guests force their way into wedding receptions usually with the help of an invited guest. The 'gate crashers' often times turn out to be lousy and noisy – chatting away at the top of their voices or making indecent jokes – that way killing some of the fun the wedding reception is supposed to offer guests.

Free loaders
When it’s time to serve the meals or take home souvenirs this class of wedding guests make their presence felt. They won’t ask for enough, that’s not their style but more than enough of whatever gifts they can help themselves with. If each guest is expected to leave with a mug for instance, trust the freeloaders to go home with 3 or more.

The Shameless Gossips
They feast their eyes on everyone or thing that walks in. A young beautiful couple shows up and you’ll hear them talking about how so and so used to have a fling with the husband or how the wife was once jilted by her former lover. Their shameless discussion of other people’s private business is not restricted - not even in the wedding arena. Although it makes perfect sense to socialize at a wedding reception – after all it’s a social event – most people in this class of crazy wedding guests go the extra mile. They’re looking for potential suitors and not necessarily there to celebrate with the bride and groom. When you notice a well dressed girl in high hills with a subtle but seductive aura, chances are that she’s single and hoping one guy would ‘catch her’. They could potentially be a distraction

The Show-offs
What would you call someone who on arrival at the wedding arena starts greeting people noisily and shaking almost every hand he can reach out to? A show-off especially if he’s rocking an expensive designer wear. Even the ladies do this with fake friendly banters and hugs to people they probably saw that very day but acting like they haven’t seen them in years. The show-off simply wants others to take notice of them and how well off they are.

The Gluttons
A bottle of beer for some men is just the appetizer. How about serving them 6 bottles as their normal ration for a session? Never expect the gluttons to take a reasonable amount of edibles, they’re like cows that feed without a stop button only of course till the other guests give them embarrassing looks or if the ushers refuse them any more food/drink requests.

I wonder o! The bride and groom no complain about uninvited guests, na you wey be invited guest dey carry matter for head. Shiooor!
As long as they don't come there to steal, e no consign anybody. Olofofo!!

It sounds like Abuja is outside Nigeria.. If not those classes of individuals exists in other parts of the country..
