Chapter one

I walked through the dark trying to catch a glimpse of my past,tears trickled down my cheeks and i tried to cry out my pains, but my sobs only reached past my own ears and my entire life came rushing back at me and i remembered how it all began.....
It was a cool monday morning and Dara a certified accountant is to resume her new job as the Managing director of Zenith Bank Plc one of the prestigious banks in Nigeria.The night before as Dara goes through her daily ritual of saying her night prayers so many thoughts cloud her mind as she hands over everything to the general overseer of all affairs 'Baba God'. The alarm intrudes on my beautiful dream which makes me wide awake and am on my feet,alas! the clock says 6.00am on the dot just in the nick of time.I say my morning prayers and dash to bathroom to take my bath singing Bruno Mars 'Lazy song'.
I try to take something very light and hurriedly leave the house and i imagine how my ist day at work is going to be like.Even as i'm shown my office by the receptionist my mind is just not at ease and am wondering what could be amiss.
I feel scruntinised by a pair of eyes that seem invisible which i try locating to no avail.I settle down and decide to work on a file i was given by the receptionist who said i was to work on it pending when the real job begins.Typing on the system which i enjoy with relish seems like a herculean task to me and behold a figure at the door is the reason for my distress,what the hell!

Right in my my front stood one of the world's most sexiest man and he seemed mesmerised by my appearance.We were both transfixed in our spots and the drop of a pin could not be heard.I was enthralled and spellbound by a face that seemed unexplainable.My arms twitched as i tried to avoid his piercing gaze that burned into my skin.He felt my discomfort and whispered in my ears"baby we'd see" which sent a tingling sensation down my body and i quivered in anticipation of what he meant by that and as i tried to question him he moved like a ghost and disappeared from my preying eyes.
I hurriedly packed my documents aside and dabbed my face with a face towel and locked the adjoining office as i set to leave for home."Aaarrrgggghhh what a day i said aloud" In a bid to dash so fast to the carpark i missed the staring gaze of the intruder who captured my five senses.Now on my way home,"gosh traffic not today i really need to get home fast before my heart explodes,what kind of dumb feeling is this?ooooh what did i just say this is not dumb joor infact its one of the best feeling have ever had but what could that guy be thinking now?Iam so sure he is thinking about him i feel like a goddess already cant wait for our happily ever after oh silly me do happily ever after still exist? Mine is going to be heaven's best! Dara wake up from your slumber this is not a silly korean love series movie you watching girl what a thought!"Thank God the road is now free i said as i sped home.

The last thing i remember is taking a shower as i plunged into the world of the unknown.Whose voice is that i asked no one in particular? I strained my ears to hear and capture the words he sang:

no footsteps on the ground

I could envision my thoughts as i tried to flush out every scene i ever dreamt.
"This wont be easy" i said aloud: "but come to think of it,is there any harm in thinking of this guy who might just be with another lady now"
"......Oooh thats unlike it joor as he is so entangled in a love frenzy with me.Dont think i'd be going to work today i'd just call in sick and spend the day with Yemisi my friend"
I put a call through to Yemisi who picked up after a few seconds:
Finest wats up with you now....i asked?
"i dey o sweetie just chilling at home....hmm thats kul.Can you come over we need to talk.Lemme freshen up i'd join you shortly.Bye she said which i replied bye dear and hung up"
I jumped and danced a few steps to the skelewu song which i loved so much.I decided to make a pancake for my friend which am sure she would appreciate.

I sang to the lyrics of Bruno Mars "Billionaire".At 12.00pm on the dot i heard a knock on the door which i dashed to open and at the door stood my beautiful friend Yemisi whom i hugged with smiles.I inserted a film into the system for us to watch and i was about settling down to enjoy the movie when my friend who saw the name of the movie exclaimed:
....."Vampires Diary i have heard so much about this movie and you know been an upcoming writer am always busy and occupied, faced with a tight schedule that i find it so hard to include shopping for movies........
"You are the best girlfriend she confessed"I stood up to go get her refreshments.I came back with a freshly baked pancake and a glass of orange juice to go with which she eyed in anticipation.
"I trust you dearie" she said and helped herself to it and we both focused on the movie.

Chapter Two
An hour into the movie,i decided to brush the main issue bothering me with Yemisi who saw my facial gesture and paused the movie.
"..........whats the problem dear she asked......" as i took a deep sigh and poured out every single thougt plundering my mind:
"There is this guy in my workplace who seems captured by my appearance and am also so into him like mad as i can't help the situation i find myself and iam so bothered about what the future holds in stock for us......."

"I have not been so into any guy like this before,when i wake up he is the first person i can think of and when i go to bed he is the last thing on my mind......"
Hope iam not saying rubbish i asked? She replied;
just take your time and always know you can always confide in me........"thanks dear" i said whilst beaming.
Time seemed to develop wings and alas night came and i had to bid Yemisi goodbye as she had to go home and prepare for tomorrow's work......
............bye dearie always know i care so much about you she said.
" i would always have that in mind" i said as we both walked down to the gate.
Falling asleep seemed so easy as i have shared what seemed to be troubling me within........"Mr sexy here i come" i said and travelled into the land of my dreams...............
