1. In line with his pacifist tendency, Gov. Peter Obi called Dr. Chris Ngige on phone this morning to explain to him why, for the sake of Anambra State, everybody needs to support tge winner of the election. He particularly asked him to reflect about Anambra State and the need to avoid protracted court action since the election was evidently free and fair.

Surprisingly, Ngige said he was owing a lot and that the only condition that will stop him from going to court was if he would be paid back the 3.21 Billion he spent in prosecuting the election.

2. Few days to election, Ifeanyi Ubah gave 20 motorcycles to Agulu, each village got one, for Agulu has 20 villages.

When results of Anaocha came out, Ubah called his supporters from Agulu yesterday,s night to come to Nwagu for celebration, for labour party was doing well. When they congregate at Nwagu in their motorcycles, the pensive Ubah addressed them as fools for not securing a total of more than 50 votes for him in Agulu. " 50 votes means that your family members did not even vote for me in spite the motorcycle gifts", Ubah said. Thereafter, he took the machines from them. He also sent messages to 6 of the beneficiaries that were absent to return his bike or face his wrath.[/b]
