Uduaghan will definitely prefer Okowa. By here's the big problem, why did Okowa and his political advisers allow Uduaghan to get into a senatorial race in Delta south? The last time I checked the incumbent is still seeking reelection. Ochei popularity is real, not just in Northern zone, but across the state. I don't see how Okowa is going to stop that.
I doubt he could have dissuaded Uduaghan from running for the Senate, James Manager would eventually defer to the governor, it was obvious that at some point Uduaghan would want that Senate seat. I doubt the tussle would affect Okowa's chances though.
I admit though, Ochei is very popular but this is Delta, more popular politicians have been cut down by the hierarchy................

I truly believe the manner, senator manager and Uduaghan power play gets resolved, will decide how the chips fall in the gov's race. There is already bad blood between the SSG and the Okowa team, as played out by PDP chairman outburst against SSG a couple of months ago. Also there is no love lost between manager and Okowa. I had hoped Uduaghan would play the balancing act, as he has always done in state. I don't see Manager conceding that seat to Uduaghan,as Orubebe will asked in the near future to stand down his campaign. The powers of our PDP elders have greatly diminished in the state, I don't see how they can control the incoming battle during the PDP primaries. That's why the Sylvester Monye, remains a name to keep behind our minds. He might end up as the compromise candidate.

Senator Aguariavwodo is the dark horse. Jonathan knows d dangers of giving it to igbo man. Jonathan will play a bigger role dan uduaghan becos uduaghan would try to redeem himself and negotiate. . .the fear of EFCC and London
