So I was in moot Court today at School;watching the Proceedings and I noticed something;Wigs! Wigs fashioned to mimic European Hair Types,down to the last Detail...I find it so embarrassing that a "learned" Profession has not come to realize that it smacks of nothing but neo-colonialist,subservient and slavish Mentality to continue to wear those ugly,ridiculous Things. Another Thing I was the Way the Counsel kept repeating "milord",I kept wondering if they didn't realize how ridiculous it sounded ,for Heaven's Sake,we don't say "milord" in Nigeria,what we say is "My Lord"! must we do everything in a servile,sheep-like Manner?
I realize the Topic of Wigs has been discussed on NL before,I want some fresh Perspective and any insight on what one can do to end this shameful Practice.
