When someone told me this, I actually believed it a little till i came across this tutorial. Now you can also install your BBm on pc. let me walk u through the easiest way to install Blackberry Messenger BBM on your PC (Windows/Mac) using Bluestacks.

Bluestacks is Windows/Mac app that allows you to run Android apps on your PC. It is very very easy to use, no config of any kind is needed. With this app also you can install Whatsapp and loads of other Android apps on your PC. You can download HERE.

Requirements:
-Bluestacks: Download from their official site
-BBM.apk: You can choose to download here (https://www.dropbox.com/s/3qs02ugmpin3jf1/BBM.apk) or download from playstore after you have installed bluestacks.

STEPS.
- Download and install Bluestack from the link above.
- If you downloaded BBM.apk from the link above just double-click on it to install, Otherwise click on the search icon in Bluestack, search for BBM and install via playstore.
- After you’ve successfully installed BBM, you can now open it from Bluestacks app launcher. Sign in or Sign up for Blackberry ID and enjoy BBM on your PC.Checkout my screenshots below....

You would need to redownload and reinstall BlueStacks.
FYI, there's an offline installer for it.

Alternatively, you could also get GenyMotion. I prefer it though since I can emulate any Android device and any specific Android Operating System
