The only thing that won't make me support ASUU this time around is that they are wasting out the future of all students in the course of their protest. If they actually appreciated the sacrifice the students have made, so far, to this present strike, they would have accepted the present 1.2trn offer and resume to class immediately rather than prolonging the strike in the name of documentation of agreement.
I see no reason why strike should be the only option to resolving issues by an intellectual filled ASUU. Instead, they should develop a more tactical means of dealing with issues.
I plead to ASUU to please return back to class as our university system will thrive better without strikes. Don't make the resourceful students you've built turn to gangsters before you realize that the strike is affecting us, we can't bear it no more.
Furthermore, i will blame the FG on the threat it issued as that is not the solution to the problem but will rather worsen the situation. We all know what the solution is and that shouldn't have led to any threat.
Moreover, we have a constitution that supports what ASUU is doing. Rather than give threats, please document the agreement with ASUU and let a blissful rain fall on the soil of our universities. ‪# MHS‬... YASK2!

what I really don't understand is why d strike is still on! few weeks ago it was all over the news that majority of the local chapters of ASUU voted in support of the suspension of the strike.... and like magic a secret meeting was held and we are back to darkness.
anyway I don't blame ASUU the student body is so weak and I'll make sure I petition NANS once the academic activites resumes!

I wish to ask this question... If FG approves the whole 2009 agreement, will it provide jobs for the unemployed or create more jobs in the country?
