Are Human Sacrifices Still Taking Place In Our Society These Days? by SirdeKay: 4:51pm On Dec 01, 2013
The Deji (paramount ruler) of Akure, Ondo State(where I live) passed on less than 24hrs ago. Since then I have been receiving warnings from friends and well wishers to be very careful of my movements as certain rituals involving human lives are likely to take place as part of the funeral rites. Strangers are particularly at risk. My mind went back to warnings issued to us when we were in NYSC camp in those days to be careful of our host communities. Are these fears real or unfounded? Mind u, this is completely different from money rituals.
