Dont get it twisted bro. The word Rituals is highly misunderstood. Catholics do rituals. I am a catholic myself. Infact their is a book in the church known as the book of rituals. The sacrament of baptism as well as many other practices in the church are rituals. Jesus himself performed a ritual when he washed his disciples' feet. Just check out the meaning of the word.
And as for okotie and his likes, an igbo saying has it that 'what a person does not know, is morethan him'.

So then, how do we know if Pastor Okotie was right? Let see what the bible says about this subject.

Who are the people in Hell and who are those what will themselves in Hell?

II Thessalonians 1:6-10

"But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”

[/b]What condition will lead any man to Hell and finally the lake of fire?

[b]Revelation 20:9-15

9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire

So according to Rev 20:15, those whose names are not written in the book of life are cast into the lake of fire. 2nd Thess. 1-6 tells us those who are in hell now and those who will end up in hell.

These are just two examples of scriptures that tells you who and what is in Hell already and those who will end up there! The ultimate question is: Do you live a life describe by these scriptures? Then you are heading to Hell and you need to repent now before it is too late!

If Catholics ways reflects these scriptures, then where they will end up is expressly clear from the scriptures.

I wonder why people enjoy criticizing this church somuch. So they don't study the bible? Ignorance is indeed a disease. What does Mr Okotie think a catholic 'Missal' is? A play boy magazine? He needs to google it and while at it, he should show the whole world since he seems to know more than anyone else where in the bible 'beauty pageant' was approved in the house of God. Lol

our biggest problem in this country is religion, why can't we telorate each other and let each other be instead of forcing our believes on others, to me the only telorating and peaceful religion presently in this country is the African traditional religion, a Christian can never telorate, accept or stay together with them without critisizing them but they rili do not care, I have a neighbour who is igbe in Delta state when ever I give her harvest envelope, she give me back with lits of cash inside, hence wen she invites me for her festival I really don't mind going as it is fun and they don't segregate unlike Christians please let's live as on3

But God hasn't made any provision for a departed saint/sinner to hear our intercession. in the great beyond, it's only Christ that hears and intercedes for His Church. Mary, Joseph, angel Michael, etc can't hear us.

Abt praying to saints for intercesion please read Proverbs15:8, 15:19, Job 42:8, Mathew 16:19 ders a provision for dt in those verses.
