We're waiting for the pictures. I think Ibadan is under-represented.

Ibadan is an ancient city and I don't see anything wrong with that unless the OP is trying to claim Ibadan has been completely rebuilt which I doubt with the size of the city and its compounded challenges.

There's a small fraction of the city is quasi-modern and not like the Ibadan that's usually being advertised.

That is like saying Albion FC is not that bad because they won at least one game in a season.

What is ancient in Ibadan? Most of the houses in Ibadan were built within the last century.

The sanitation and planning in Ibadan may tend to being rustic but it is definitely not aesthetic in any way.
Compare Venice, Milan, Rome, Paris, etc. These cities still boast of 16th century edifices with modern infrastructure.

Ibadan is nothing but a huge slum.
