Since we started using ATMs in this country it has been from one problem to another, like someone withdrawing your money in Kano while you are in Ibadan with your ATM card in your pocket to being debited without being paid by the ATM.
But I got my own share of the ill services rendered by bank of recent.
My dad wants to help me get some cash from the ATM last week tuesday, he had a balance of #67,000 and wanted to withdrawal #60000 after withdrawing the first #20000 the ATM showed take your cash at the second attempt but no cash came out, he complained to a security guard who told him to try again, so with the third attempt he was paid another #20000 but when he tried the forth time the ATM showed insufficient balance and he was left with #7000 naira balance, throughout this series of transactions he received no transaction alert, he went to complain the second day and received transaction alert after about 24hr of making the transaction and few hours after he complaint, now he is being told after writing series of letter that nothing can be done as the system shows he collected the money.
my question now is, Is there something he can still do or just forget about the money, though he was dared to go to court if he wants because there system shows that he has collected the money.

if need be I can mention the bank.
Thanks .
