2) It is a religion section. There are somethings that a christian wouldnt understand about atheism. So christian mods cant be 100% fair to atheists and vice versa. Even Jesoul was corrected by MMC on certain atheist stuff.

Secondly, every religion/disbelief has it quirks. A mod for each belief is necessary due to the warzone-like way it can be between beliefs in the religion section
