I graduated with a 2:1 in electrical engineering since 2009. I couldnt get a decent job uptill a couple of months ago. I had to run my M.ENG programme to save face.

I was very depressed through all those period believe me it was not funny. However , almost everybody that I have told about the new job seem very sad and bitter save for two people who used to help me with cash during my M.ENG.

I am surprised that people who i thought were friends appear very unhappy once they hear I have gotten a job.
These people too are doing pretty well for themselves o.

My question is, is it our nature as humans or as blacks.

some people have even complained that there parents are against there progress. Why do people find it difficult to be happy with you when you make progress ??

Such is life.
When you are in problem, they pretend they are praying/having feeling/sympathising with you, but when God answers your prayer, they become envious. The bible says...."human heart is desperately wicked, who can know it". Such is life joor.

What can you do?
Ignore them, pretend as if you dont get their feelings towards them, and be careful as well.
Jesus said......."watch and pray".

That is life. They are just being human. Afterall, the word says that the heart of man is despertely wicked, who can know it? They prefer to pity you than rejoice with you. I have learnt to keep good news to myself, and if I have to share, it is just with my immediate family. Lobatan. However, no matter how hard you try to keep some, some news will still advertise themselves. I also try to downplay my joy and happiness when sharing

The surprising thing is that all these people are my church members. They only put up a cosmetice smile and you can easily see through their veil of deception.

Some even go ahead to say things like "its a contract job abi ?" in order to confirm its not as good a offer as they thought.

The heart of man is so wicked true true. God help us !!!!!
