Adages are short sayings that have been generally accepted as truth,hence used as a tool of instruction.However,at least to me are untrue thus i strongly disagree with them.Below is my list. 1.DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WISH THEM DO UNTO YOU.-i strongly disagree with this,reason being that people have preferences.so you should do unto a man as HE wants to be done unto,and not as YOU wish to be done unto. 2.EXPERIENCE IS THE BEST TEACHER .-nothing can be more untrue,experience could even be the worst teacher,as you may go through it and survive to learn the lesson. 3.OPPURTUNITY KNOCKS BUT ONCE-can you believe this crap?hell no.oppurtunity knocks,lingers,waits and does that everyday only that we fail to see it.4. WORDS OF ELDERS ARE WORDS OF WISDOM-Not on all matters in every instance,are elders infallibe? No.sometimes their words are that of fear,ignorance and over cautiousness. Feel free to add yours |
