the problem is that I can't really remember when I applied for such job.is there anyone in my shoe or any one who has has a similar experience b4.I need to be put through

I got the invitation too. I registered on U-connect website weeks ago. I also submitted my Cv online with them When they were recruiting for Access Bank. I guess they pulled out your info from their database.

It's like they invited the whole world o.I am still still contemplating

I got d msg too, I remember submitting my cv when they were recruiting for access bank but dis sales walkabout job I'm not too sure I want to go

Oh yes! I got the invite as well for the interview tomorrow at U- connect and it's obviously a marketing job as it's clearly stated in d text that was sent(Direct Sales Executive). I'm still contemplating attending the interview but the only thing intriguing about the whole thing is the fact that they didn't mention the company they are consulting for. I know U-Connect consults for highly reputable firms. I've been there once in person to drop my CV when they were recruiting for etisalat but I couldn't continue with the process cos they wanted to train first and they were asking to go for a training that costs about 40k or so back then and I didn't have the funds at the time.
As for the guy who wants to knw how to get to d place from Obalende....just take a BRT bus going to Ajah and alight at Lekki Phase one. From there u'd have to walk into the estate and take one of them buses operating around that area and tell them ur going to admiralty way. When u alight at the Avalon bus stop or so(not sure but just tell them ur going to Avalon house). When u alight u'd walk into the road right beside the Avalon house, take a left turn and ask anyone from there. It's just a walking distance. This info I just gave you now cost me some serious wahala my first time. I smell pepper and walked like "the pilgrim's progress" before I got the place . It wasn't easy at all. But that's why we have this forum to ensure others don't suffer what someone else has suffered. I still haven't made up my mind yet cos where I'm coming from is very far(Abule-Egba) and I can't afford to spend money coupled with d stress involved and not get what would make me happy. I also went for the interview and I wouldn't say I regretted going even though it appeared like the whole world was invited. I got alil bit of exposure in the way certain things are done and also learnt something pretty much interesting from the guy who interviewed me. I'd like to say that nothing was lost rather I gained. For those of you saying it's 18k or 25k or whatever they are offering...if you dismiss things based on these kind of details, u might just miss out on what God's planning for you(I pray that wouldn't be our portion). He that is faithful in little shall He commit much into his hands. You never can tell if that's what God is going to use to connect you to something bigger that you never expected. I've seen many people like that who started with just 20k and today they are making it big but they had to start somewhere. I'm not saying everyone has to thread that path to be successful but all I'm saying is this: don't dismiss things based on such facts and sometimes our comments are geared towards discouraging others. That something didn't work for you doesn't mean someone else wouldn't be successful at it. Don't use someone else's experience determine your reality! Wish everyone a wonderful Christmas celebration. my guy u beta wake up and stop saying trash.this is reality.in nigeria as I marketer 2 a bank u can neva be promoted or staffed.u beta take ur time and find a better job if u know u want 2 develop ur career.and pls marketers in banks r like d houseboy.if u say 20k in an ict firm cool because u r gaining experience and one day ur pay will rise and u will be promoted not marketing in bank.same thing apply 2 an audting firm.u will get a lot of experience on ow 2 use modern software even if they r payin u 20k.or u wan turn gay 2 bring in 50M.u beta wake up and search 4 a beta job
